LifeStore "Buys Boone Lunch" At FARM Cafe

On Tuesday, December 10th, LifeStore "Bought Boone Lunch" at F.A.R.M. Cafe in Boone. By covering the daily operating costs, and volunteering services, all funds collected that day will go directly toward the F.A.R.M. Cafe's mission "to build a healthy and inclusive community by providing high quality and delicious meals produced from local sources, served in a restaurant where everybody eats, regardless of means."

LifeStore volunteers arrived early to help F.A.R.M. Cafe staff wash dishes and wash, chop, and sort farm fresh veggies for the daily meal. When the doors opened for service at 11:00, other employees and volunteers were on hand to greet, wash dishes, and serve the delicious, locally sourced meal.
